BIG news! (for me, anyway)

Now I know I haven't updated my journal in SO long, and I haven't been very active with dA overall. I had a very busy year which didn't allow for much time for photography. But since it is now summer and I don't have nearly as many things that I am required to work on, I'm going to begin shooting more and more often.
The real point of this journal is some very big news I have about my photography and fulfilling a dream of mine.
Sometime last week, I was given a Nikon D50 body.
It has been my dream since I have started with cameras to get my own Nikon, and I'd even been saving my money for one for quite a while. Well, now I own my very own
