Well, I just did something stupid. I *just* finished shooting my next roll for Photo class and I went to unravel it. Before I did, I forgot to press the button that releases the film, and I was suprised why it wasn't turning as smoothly as usual. All of the sudden I freaked, because I know that I probably ripped about half the roll by doing what I did. I remembered that I needed to press the button, so I did and unrolled it that way, which was obviosly much smoother. It didn't take many turns to unravel it, so that means I ripped through a lot of my film. I spent two days shooting this, I am so ticked. I hope I'll still be able to develop the ones that didn't rip... Ugh.

Anyone who does darkroom photography, if I turned the rewind three to five times without pressing the release button, about how many pictures may I have ruined? It was a 35 picture roll.

My God, I am having the worst artistic block right now. I don't know what to do about it either. I was even inspired today by some things we learned in Photo class, and some pictures we saw, but when I pulled out my camera to shoot later on, I failed miserably. I couldn't find a single friggen picture to take that didn't come out blurry or bland. I suppose it might have something to do with my camera, which I have a love-hate relationship with at the moment. Last week, it unexpectedly deleted over 300 pictures off my memory card without any warning, and I didn't get a chance to upload the pictures before they were wiped away. And I think I had quite a few good ones too! And just today, although a lot of the pictures came out yucky and blurry, it deleted all those too. I'd really like to get an SLR (that's what you call it, right?) but I just don't have the cash right now. Like I said, I'll be in my photography class and we are going to get rental cameras (35mm to be exact!) so hopefully if some of those turn out good, I'll scan them up.

I need to get out of this photo-less rut! Anyone care to help me?

So, you know the poem I just uploaded? Well, I really poured my heart out into that description. And now I'm really sad, and I really want to cry. It just hit me like a rock. I miss them both SO much, I always will. They were two of the best people I have ever met in my lifetime, and to have that taken away from me is like telling me I can never see my family again. I loved them like family. I miss them with all my heart and I don't think I'll ever see either of them again. These times in my life when these people left me were some of the hardest things I've ever gone through, and left me with big holes in my heart. Many tears I have cried have been about them. And I think more are about to fall, because I've never been this upset about missing them before. Please help. No one should have to experience losing their best friend. It's a horrible, horrible thing to experience.

The tears are coming. I just know it.
